Staying at Hotel Halond was a breath of fresh air during my trip to Akureyri, especially with the stunning view over the fjord. The self-check-in was seamless, allowing me to settle in quickly and enjoy the modern, clean room equipped with all the essentials. It felt like a cozy haven-perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the local culture. The terrace offered a lovely spot to sip a warm drink while soaking in the atmosphere. Plus, the shared outdoor hot tubs added a unique touch to our evenings; they might not have boasted the view, but they were incredibly relaxing! For anyone traveling with friends or family, this place provides a great balance of comfort and convenience-ideal for adventures in skiing and cycling nearby. I highly recommend Hotel Halond for both its charm and its perfect location in a gem of a town!
